what is mesotherapy?
The treatment was pioneered by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952. Today, there are many forms of the treatment but as a general principle it uses needles to deliver vitamins, amino acids, fat reduction agents, or other compounds into the mesoderm (mid layer) of the skin.
We use the Meso Pen with an adaptable needle length from 0.1 up to 2mm. The length is adapted to the body area and indication.

What are the effects after the procedure?
Immediately after the treatment the skin is slightly swollen, red and tender. There are also small, spot marks on the micro-strokes. The skin usually regenerates within the next few days after the procedure. Over the next days and weeks, the treated area is clearly rebuilt. Wrinkles become shallower, scars and stretch marks less visible. The skin improves its structure, smoothes itself, brightens and thickens.

No extreme sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment
No Fake Tan – allow at least 7-10 days for your fake tan to be completely off your skin
Anti-wrinkle injections (such as Botox and Fillers) require 3-4 weeks buffer time before/after treatments.
Discontinue use of active products 1 week prior to treatment (Retinol, Glycolic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide)
No IPL/Laser skin treatments 2 weeks prior to needling treatment
No exfoliation 72 hours prior to treatment
No waxing, hair removal treatments 72 hours prior to treatment
No active herpes simplex, prep 72 hours prior to treatment

Post-Treatment Instructions
During the skin healing process, minor itching, flaking or redness may appear. If the symptoms persist, please get in touch.
Please avoid the following activities for up to two days following the treatment:
Direct UV exposure (sun/sunbeds)
Intensive cardio/gym
Excessively hot showers
Further clinical treatments, including microdermabrasion, laser, IPL, chemical peels and dermal fillers
Spray or self-tanning
Swimming in chlorinated pools or the ocean
Tattooing (including cosmetic tattooing)
Light oil-free makeup may be applied 24 hours after the treatment. Please avoid the use of skincare products containing any of the following active resurfacing ingredients for up to 5 days following the treatment:
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) including glycolic, lactic or malic acid
Beta hydroxy acid (BHA) including salicylic acid
Benzoyl peroxide
